Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages

TEYL

Certificate in Teaching English to Young Learners and Teenagers

  • – specialises in teaching English to young learners (3 to 15 years of age at the pre-school, kindergarten, elementary and junior high school)
  • – is for teachers of English to young learners to develop a greater understanding of theory and successful methodology for the classroom.

Cambridge Exams

Linked to central European framework of reference (CEFR)

  • – FCE (First Certificate in English) – B2 level

Daria Shchygoleva

Dasha is originally from Donetsk, Ukraine. She has been teaching young learners, teenagers and adults of all levels for more than four years. She holds a degree and a CELTA with TYL extension from Cambridge University in England.

She also has successfully achieved FCE, CAE and CPE Cambridge certificates. In her free time, Dasha enjoys doing on-line courses that cover Phycology and Teaching, organizing speaking clubs and cycling with Scott.

Scott Harmer

Scott is originally from York, England. Prior to Ukraine, he taught for several years in The Middle East as an Exams Writer and Coordinator for the Ministry of Education in Oman, in China as an Academic Director for a major language school chain and in Thailand as a Head Teacher.  He holds a Master’s degree and Diploma in English Teaching from Cambridge University in England.

Scott has lived and taught in Ukraine for several years gaining invaluable insight into the needs of his students of all ages and levels.  In his free time, Scott enjoys biking around Ukraine with Dasha.
